The Trustees are pleased to announce that effective February 1, 2009, HMC Companies (HMC) will replace Managed Health Network (MHN) to administer the Fund's Employee/Member Assistance Program (EMAP) for mental health and chemical dependency benefits. 

What To Do if You Are Currently Treating a Fund Member Beginning on February 1, 2009, HMC/APS must be contacted before the member receives services or treatment for mental health or chemical dependency even if you have an existing authorization from MHN.  If HMC/APS is not contacted before receiving treatment, the member may not be eligible for benefits and claims may be denied. Prior to your patient's first appointment in February 2009, their care must be certified. Please call HMC at 888-332-3780 after February 1^st or complete and return the transition form, which can be downloaded on below.
